Landsail's winter range expands with three new Nordic models

Landsail's winter tyre range is expanding with three models designed for Nordic winters: cold, snowy and icy roads. The news was published by Rehvid Pluss on 24 August 2026.

PolarDragon Soft – friction tyre for ice and snow

PolarDragon Soft is a non-studded Nordic friction tyre for cars. The soft rubber compound, dense wavy sipes and directional V-pattern are designed for ice, compacted snow and slush. The sidewall carries the M+S, 3PMSF and ice grip symbols.

Landsail.ee checked the EPREL database: PolarDragon Soft has 73 registered sizes, and all of them carry both the snow grip and the ice grip pictogram. See PolarDragon Soft sizes.

IceDragon – studded tyre with 24 stud rows

The studs on IceDragon form 24 alignment rows in the tread, distributed across the full tread width. This means 24 contact lines, not 24 studs. Sipes work in the areas between the studs. IceDragon overview.

IceDragon VAN – studded tyre for work vans

IceDragon VAN is a C-marked studded tyre for vans and light commercial vehicles. It is a separate model with a reinforced construction, not a larger version of the IceDragon car tyre. IceDragon VAN sizes.
